Every of my morning run on the familiar track near my house, I always meet acquaintances who give me these comments and encouragements: “You are bro hah”, “I wish I could run like you”, “Only when I run I can FEEL it but I can’t right now”, “You are strong”, “God bless you” while I just see it so normal. These got me to take what I am doing more seriously because I CAN now. I just run because I feel like doing it but to be fair, I appreciate because I can run right now, the energy and strength is still there. Looking at people growing old or having injuries that erodes their strength is kinda sad. Nevertheless, lots of times we just take for granted what we are having, we don’t run while we can, we don’t do things while we are able to and to some point, we regret because we can’t anymore. Life is truly just a race with yourself.
